Abstract
Using chaotic circuits to noise generation is a straightforward application, due to the properties of sensitivity, unpredictability and topological transitivity, that such systems exhibit. The present contribution gives simulation results regarding some statistical properties for a class of discrete-time, recursive digital filter - like, chaotic systems. Several periodic, nonlinear algebraic functions are included in the circuit topology to achieve complex nonlinear dynamics. The simulation results are useful for estimating noise statistical properties necessary at the system level design.
