Abstract :
This paper describes the implementation of a graph theory based methodology for electric power distribution network. The methodology is based on Kruskal´s algorithm, which finds an optimal switching sequence by considering the reliability of the entire distribution network even during varying load conditions. The proposed method is tested and evaluated on IEEE 16 bus distribution system whose results are presented systematically and verified using a model.
