Abstract :
An improved phase tunable millimeter wave Vivaldi antenna array element is presented in this paper. The liquid crystal phase shifter provides the individual phase and can be integrated in an wideband array configuration for electronic beam steering. The applied high performance LC GT3-23001 offers a 2.5 times higher differential phase shift than K15 (5CB).
