Abstract
This paper proposes a completely new design for a beam switching antenna. The silicon-based antenna is planar and the radiation is based on the grating. The antenna is capable of steering five beams at 77GHz with 5GHz radiation and matching BW. Because of the fully dielectric design the losses are almost zero except for 0.9dB due to the transition from WR10 to WG.
