Abstract :
Modeled performance of a space-fed phased-array antenna with variable subarray weightings is presented for narrowband and wideband frequencies in the X-band frequency range. A 4-port Butler matrix was designed for use as the feed horn for the antenna. Measured and modeled far-field pattern data for the Butler matrix feed horn and the phased-array antenna are presented for narrowband and wideband frequencies.
