Abstract :
User mobility in a cellular mobile communication environment is a feature that implies radio resource management in order to ensure the continuity in existing calls. In addition, each call can occupy one or more radio channels in order to ensure the necessary bandwidth. As a result there is a very large field of variables included in a cellular mobile system behavior and they must be accordingly tracked in order to achieve a greater system capacity and a reduced number of congestion situations. Our work introduces a framework based on an agent structure capable to execute a large variety of analyses and to reveal the correct behavior of the assumed system.
