Abstract :
Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) method is an important method of Direction of Arrival (DOA). Under the impulse noise environment, the performance of the conventional MUSIC method for coherent signals will degenerate seriously. Based on the characteristics of impulse noises and the fractional lower order statistics, two modified MUSIC algorithms of DOA estimation based on nonlinear preprocessing and spatial smoothing technology are proposed. Simulation results show that the novel algorithms both have excellent performance in Gaussian and impulse noise environments.
