Abstract :
This paper presents the following application of GIS which have been installed during the last years. The focus by choosing the applications is given on specific requirements of the project, and to show the flexibility of GIS to solve the project related requirements. The are much more projects already installed in the world today with some hundred thousand bays world wide, and some hundred bays each year. This also shows the world wide increasing importance of the reliable GIS in the power transmission system
