Abstract
Often the parasitics of circuits are the limitations of a given technology. A new method of first order parasitic extraction will be presented in this paper. The concepts in this paper are general enough to be applied to all aspects of electronic design from the simplest circuits to system on a package (SoP) and integrated circuits (ICs). This new approach allows for more rapid circuit design. An application of this method is given using a band-pass filter centered at 1 GHz. Measured results are provided.
