Abstract
The real-time interferometer is a diagnostic for advanced accelerator and light source facilities the employ high-brightness beams. The diagnostic provides single-shot measurements of the electron beam temporal profile by analyzing the emitted terahertz radiation from coherent radiation generation processes. Here we present preliminary data to ascertain the viability of the diagnostic that will be commissioned at the Brookhaven National Laboratory Accelerator Test Facility.
