Abstract :
In this paper, novel compact microstrip bandpass filter with suppression of spurious response is proposed, which has the advantages of compact size, wide stopband and sharp rejection in the stopband. The filter achieves the suppression of spurious response by incorporation of lowpass filter between the two parallel-coupling microstrip lines. A demonstration filter was designed and tested. Theoretical and experimental results are presented
