Abstract :
A compact circular patch lowpass filter using the slow-wave resonator is proposed in this paper. The filter has the advantages of compact size, easy fabrication, low insertion loss in the passband, high level and wide rejection in the stopband. Both electromagnetic (EM) simulation results and equivalent circuit are presented. The proposed filter is expected to be desirable in microwave system applications
