Equivalent friction coefficient is significant parameter to research traffic safety, vehicle accelerated capability and the performance of braking and handling and so on. In this paper, equivalent friction coefficient is researched in terms of vehicle with inconsistent friction coefficient on tires. Formulate of equivalent friction coefficient has wide application background in engineering practice.
