Abstract :
According to the requirements of totally integrated intelligent building information system (TIIBIS), a scheme of system integration based on Web technology and OPC (OLE for Process Control) technology is put forward in the paper. The Web system based on B/S (Browser/Server) architecture can realize remote monitoring and break the localization of traditional C/S (Client/Server) architecture which must be run on LAN. OPC provides an efficient way to integrate different subsystems. Each subsystem in building offers a OPC server, which connects to their respective subsystems. As a result, TIIBIS can use an OPC client to obtain real-time data of all subsystems. With the combination of Web technology and OPC technology, the intelligent building information management level is improved to a higher degree.
