  • Abstract
    Millimeter wave transmission components for JT-60SA ECRF system (1 MW, 100 s per transmission line at 110 GHz) have been developed and tested in JAEA. Vacuum leakage test and low power (typically 1 mW) transmission test of newly fabricated components (60.3 mm diameter) were finished with no problem. A 20 m transmission line from a gyrotron to a dummy load was installed using the new components. A high-power transmission test (~500 kW, 1 s) was successfully carried out, and the entire system worked as we expected.
