Abstract
SUNSAT is being developed by Stellenbosch University (South Africa) staff and students as an auxiliary payload for an Ariane launch in January 1995. It will carry digital and analog amateur radio payloads. A precision attitude control system and a 20-m-resolution pushbroom imager will permit tricolor stereographic imaging on the same pass for environmental monitoring and three dimensional terrain mapping
