Abstract
To simulate some microwave devices with thin-wire structures, we propose a round contour path integral (RCPI) method to calculate the currents on conducting thin-wire by using subcell technique in the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. Through simulation examples, the RCPI method is verified to be more accurate than the conventional square contour path integral (SCPI) method.
