Abstract :
A scheme of wavelet digital watermarking based on chaotic mapping is discussed in this paper. In this algorithm, Arnold transform is applied into scrambling the original watermark, and the iteration of scrambling transformation is taken as the private key. Then the embedding addresses of the watermark are obtained by the two dimensional (2-D) chaotic mapping to improve the security of the watermark. Hence, discrete wavelet transform, i.e. DWT, is used to decompose the original image. Simultaneously, the watermark is embedded into the selected frequency band. Finally, an approach for blind extraction is adopted to improve the practicability of the algorithm during the process of extracting the watermark. The experimental results demonstrate its good unification between the robustness and invisibility.
