Abstract :
Electron cyclotron emission imaging (ECEI) collects radiation from a tokamak plasma in a 1-D array to generate 2-D electron temperature images. Results are reported of new technology that doubles the horizontal coverage by increasing to 16 the number of simultaneously sampled frequency channels.
