Abstract
Kuroda´s identities are very significant in analysis and synthesis of distributed transmission line circuits, but they can only be used in the two conductor transmission line cases. Therefore they are generalized to multi-conductor transmission line cases, which is called generalized Kuroda´s identity. Based on them, the equivalent circuits for lossless multi-conductor transmission lines, whose characteristic impedance distributions obey the binomial form, are derived which can be represented with circuits consisting of two-terminal reactance elements, lossless uniform transmission lines and two-port ideal transformers. Moreover, by using these equivalent circuits, the analysis of the nonuniform transmission line circuits can be easily performed and network function matrices of some nonuniform transmission lines can be derived exactly.
