Abstract :
When design band-pass filter of parallel coupled microstrip lines with equal width using cascading method, it is necessary to adjust some parameters and validate the results repeatedly, and it is difficult to determine the optimum parameters. The combination of an improved genetic algorithms and the cascading method is presented in this paper. The optimal parameters can be obtained through the combined method only needing running a program. At last an example verifies the validity of the method.
