Abstract
Microwave digital radio has received much attention in recent years because it offers broad bandwidth which can fulfill the ever increase demand for high-speed voice and data networks. In this paper, we discuss the design of a broadband (10 GHz to 16 GHz) power amplifier MMIC, which will replace the current hybrid solution in order to reduce the cost and size of the RF front end in the microwave digital radio system.
