Abstract :
A micro hydro generation system has been designed and successfully tested. A prototype design has been completed for a nominal 5 kW electrical output unit. 5 kW was considered by the design team to represent a fair compromise, providing sufficient power for single domestic use, electric hand tools, or the lighting of multiple households
