In this paper, based on the experiments of machining superalloy with new coated carbide cutting tools whose coating contains superior properties. At the same time, using TiAlN coated tools that are the current commonly used for experimental analysis as a comparison. Investigations of tool wear and tool life testing in turning of superalloy are intended to establish T-V formulas. Through a series of comparative tests, the results show that G6 coating tools are suitable for cutting superalloy. The cutting speed and processing efficiency can be increased effectively.
