Abstract :
The design, analysis and experimental test of a dual-band microstrip patch antenna are presented. Also the effect of load-slot on resonance frequency and radiation characteristics of the rectangular microstrip patch antenna are shown. HPHFSS high frequency simulator is employed to analysis the designed antennas. The designed antennas were implemented on FR4 substrate with permittivity about 4.1 and 1.6 mm in thickness. Theoretical results are in good agreement with experimental results.
