Abstract :
Under a joint CIGRE/CIRED Working Group (C.4.1.03), the IEC Technical Report "Assessment of emission limits for the connection of fluctuating load installations to MV, HV and EHV power systems" is being revised. The major areas of revisions being considered are summarized in this paper and include both technical updates as well as a significant modifications intended to increase the usability of the document. In addition, this revision is greatly improving overall consistency with the other related IEC Standards dedicated to limiting the effects of disturbing loads in power systems
