Engineers and management

It is when engineers step into management that they must raise their sights and understand where they want to go and the fact that this is a giant step towards leadership. The author describes how the question is how does one equip oneself to move towards leadership. There are some simple concepts, firstly have a fairly clear idea of where you are going and what you want to do and achieve at each step of your career. This does not mean having a definitive personal development and career development path. They do not and probably, in isolation, will never work.
