Abstract :
Magneto acoustic tomography with magnetic induction (MAT-MI) is a noninvasive electrical conductivity imaging approach which was recently introduced. In the present study, a new algorithm for the acoustic source reconstruction with using incomplete data has been proposed. Computer simulation with a 3-D model was studied to evaluate the performance of this new approach. Compared with the previous methods, the new approach can reconstruct the acoustic source with a 2p detection angle and significantly reduce the time for reconstructing calculation.
