Abstract
Precursor powders play an important part in the progress of HTSC ceramics towards commercial realisation. Many powder related issues must be resolved before precursors ideal for the formation of optimal cuprate ceramics can be achieved. There is evidence that all powder issues can be addressed and resolved by use of spray pyrolysis as the fundamental method of powder production. We will continue to follow this approach to develop improved precursor powders for the manufacture of HTSC ceramics for practical applications
