Abstract :
We place the measures of consensus and dissention, tools originally developed to measure consensus in Likert scale data, in the context of the various measures of information profiled in generalized information theory. We also indicate connections between the consensus and dissention and the Fisher information measure. Finally, we introduce a targeted measure of agreement
