Abstract :
Superconducting magnets have been available for about three decades and are used for a variety of applications notably in the research laboratory. High temperature superconductors (HTS) open up the prospect of magnets for very high fields at temperatures easily accessed. This article considers the practical aspects of such HTS magnets
