Abstract :
The dielectric properties of resin can be improved by the introduction of appropriate fillers. For example, the filled resin can produce a nonlinear DC conductivity which could lead to the dissipation of space charges. The AC properties of barium titanate filled polyester are examined in this paper. The relative permittivity of the filled resin can be controlled by changing the filler concentration. The experimental results also show that the grain size of BaTiO3 has an obvious influence on the nonlinear field dependent dielectric properties
