Abstract :
Phased array antennas (PAA) find broad application in radar and other radio engineering systems of various assignment for scanning of the directional diagram in angular coordinates. The problem with existing PAA is that they usually contain many emanating elements and controlled phase shifters, that essentially increase sizes and cost of an antenna. Another problem of PAA is that for the circular review on an azimuth frequently it is necessary to rotate PAA together with a receive-transmitting cabin, and a high-power electric motor is necessary for this purpose. A new engineering solution for the construction of PAA for the ground detecting radar and controlled direction of millimetric and centimetric range is offered in which these problems are eliminated
