Abstract :
On the basis of discussion on usage of limitations of Rotating Disc Electrode Atomic Emission Spectrometry (RDE-AES) in aero-engine wear monitoring, the aero-engine oil filter debris analysis methods were summarized. And recently developed FilterSCAN aero-engine oil filter debris analysis device was introduced. The FilterSCAN aero-engine oil filter debris analysis device, which consists of a filter core washing system, the particle counting system, the debris collecting system and the operating and control system, can complete filter core washing, debris amount and size distribution analysis, and debris collecting automatically. And the analysis device provides a technology for the large metal debris monitoring for aero-engines.
