Abstract
ABV is a fast algorithm for flow classification, but it needs much memory space in a large rule database. An new improved algorithm of multi-dimensional flow classification is presented", "which reduces the complexity of the storage by intersecting storage aggregated bitmap with bitmap by neglecting the part of zero. Finally, the algorithm is realized in an emulated environment and the experimental results show that the improved algorithm has better efficiency of space than ABV in a large rule base.
