  • Abstract
    The physical and chemical changes to ruby-muscovite and amber-phlogopite mica after localised and bulk thermal stressing are reported herein and compared to the effects of electrical discharge stressing. The grades of mica investigated in this work are those commonly used in high voltage solid insulation systems
