Abstract
This presentation discusses the results of an analysis to study the potential impacts of the addition of 2000 MW of wind energy capacity on the electricity system in Ontario, Canada. Topics addressed include the capacity value of wind, the impacts on the variability of net loads on the Ontario system, and the benefit realized when wind plants are geographically dispersed
