Abstract :
To better torque ripple, the principle, step and implementation method of direct torque control for four phase switched reluctance motor are presented. The four-order orthogonal transformation matrix of flux linkage is derived step by step based on energy conservation principle, and it is put forward that the flux linkage amplitude from coordinate decomposition is 1.4 times more than that from orthogonal transformation. The relation between spatial flux linkage and voltage vector is analyzed, and the switching table of the voltage vector is designed. The simulated results showed that direct torque control for switched reluctance motor can guarantee that the stable error of the torque is within 0.3%, and its velocity response is superior to traditional PWM control.
