Abstract
Some compact and wideband 1:3, 1:4 and 1:5 shaped, radial microstrip dividers are proposed. The bandwidths of all the dividers are approximately 1 octave for SWR = 2, and the output ports have equal powers and phases. The special shapes of the dividers were designed by an extensive optimization process produced by the CST Microwave Studio software. Very good agreement between simulation and measurement was achieved.
