Abstract
China is now building the largest single dish radio telescope in the world in Guizhou province, which is called Five-hundred meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST). The main purpose of this paper is to qualitatively analyze software reliability of the feed support system for FAST. The main structure of the software of feed support system is introduced. Fault Tree Analysis method is used to analyze the reliability of software of FAST. The study in this paper provides a theoretical basis and guidance for the nextstep software reliability analysis and development of the feed support system for FAST.
