Abstract :
Three-dimensional optical bit recording with a femtosecond laser pulse and bit observation with atomic force microscope and fluorescence observation in human finger nail are performed. Shapes of a bit and changes of the fluorescence of nail is investigated. The bit is formed by micro-explosion and the fluorescence intensity is increased with a irradiation of a femtosecond laser pulse.
