Author_Institution :
Dept. of Electr. Eng., Cape Town Univ., Rondebosch, South Africa
Abstract :
The author considers some conceptual dilemmas and practical problems that arise in the attempt to develop a range of low-cost instructional apparatus with which to support a program to enrich the undergraduate electrical and electronic engineering curriculum. He illustrates these by specific examples drawn from a program under way at the University Cape Town and reports informally on some of the results to date
