Abstract :
Drum water level control of Industrial boiler is one of main technical specifications for boiler control system. Because of the phenomenon of False Water Level (FWL), according to the human thinking processes in manual adjustment, three measurement signals, i.e. drum water level, water supply flow and steam flow are introduced, and a fuzzy control algorithm is used to calculate the control volume, which constitute the Forward - Cascade three impulses fuzzy control system. The results of modeling and simulation which are based on MATLAB show that the algorithm has better results than the conventional PID control.
