Abstract :
In this paper a circuit for scavenging the RF energy is proposed, which is used for communication by the mobile communication devices like mobile phones, laptops, etc., to serve as a device to provide the power to charge their batteries, or to drive them directly, depending on their current and voltage demands. The circuit is designed currently for the Upper RF band of 0.8GHz 2GHz, which is the most widely used band till now for communication, but still it can be extended to any band of frequencies. The circuit is designed and simulated using a simulation tool ADVANCED DESIGN SYSTEM (ADS 2009 version).
