Abstract
A polygonal shaped piece of Taconic RF-35 substrate is used as a transition element from a coaxial line to a rectangular waveguide. The simulated bandwidth was suitable for the complete TE10 range for SWR = 1.2, while the measured SWR = 2 bandwidth was 42%.
