Abstract :
Increasingly, manufacturers are being encouraged to take more responsibility for their product at the end-of-life (EOL). New legislation in many countries with growing public environmental concerns drives organizations to focus on researches and applications of the EOL de-manufacturing system. This paper intends to present a framework for construction and management of a de-manufacturing system from the extended producer responsibility (EPR). The requirements of operation and information management for EOL product handling were studied, and an information system under the framework to support the handling processes was proposed. It is a systematic approach to do with the problems in the demanufacturing system.
