Abstract :
To help personnel maintain equipment is an essential function of IETM, especially aspect of fault diagnosis. Fault diagnosis of IETM is achieved by logically using Process Data Module (PDM). PDM is a control type Data Module of IETM´s. PDM can achieve maintain actions by organizing and employing some Data Modules according to appointed logic. Concept and form of PDM were expounded firstly. Then, variable mechanism and process of fault diagnosis reasoning were analyzed. Finally, a method was given for realizing PDM by making use of software. The research of the paper has an important significance for developing intelligent IETM.
