Abstract :
The Home-Environment and Entertainment Remote controls room temperature, window coverings and a stereo for a client with spina bifida. A motor under control of the remote operates the opening and closing of the curtains. The remote control displays the temperature and controls the thermostat using IR. The stereo is controlled by the remote by mimicking the existing control signal of the stereo receiver. This device is unique in that all three functions are controlled by a single remote controller
