Abstract
Presents an approach to unwrap and simultaneously filter the phases of interferometric SAR (ISAR) images. The approach works in the state space domain and utilizes an extended linearized Kalman filter. Rather then first generating the phase profile from the complex interferogram and then trying to unwrap it, the filter directly utilizes the inphase and quadrature component of the complex interferogram to estimate and unwrap the phase. The paper outlines the basic idea and presents first results
