Abstract :
Backwash is very important for ensuring the successful performance of biological aerated filter (BAF), in order to the optimal performance after backwash that need 5 ~ 6 h to recover. Through the experiment, combined air-water backwash mode was taken in BAF backwash and water backwash were 5 ~ 7 L /(m2 · s) and air backwash 13 ~ 17 L /(m2 · s) with the backwash period 24 h and the backwash time 15 min.
